Proud Poppy Productions is an independent female-led production company focused on creating bold and original Australian theatre that celebrates storytelling through dance, music, and emotion.

Founded by Ashley Grottoli, an internationally recognised choreographer, published author, and academic in dance and performing arts, Proud Poppy Productions brings together professional experience, creative leadership, and a deep commitment to meaningful work.

We collaborate with a broad network of industry professionals including choreographers, composers, dramaturgs, designers, and cultural advisors. This ensures that each production is inclusive, innovative, and professionally executed. Our creative process is driven by integrity and a belief that theatre should be both entertaining and impactful.
